You can bolt Tesla Model 3/Y battery packs and subframes/motors/suspension directly to this mandrel bent 2 x 4 / 2 x 3 rectangular tube chassis frame. This chassis was designed by a former Tesla mechanical engineer. Use only the middle/battery and rear rail sections if you plan to use your vehicle's front end steering and suspension and you have 99 inches between the center of the rear wheel and the front footwell. Weld it yourself or let us, add your body, roll cage etc. to strengthen and complete the build. Adjust to your track/body width with wheel offsets and/or body/fender flares.
The Model 3/Y wheelbase length is 113.2 inches and the Model 3/Y width is 72.8 -75.6 inches. The design accommodates any wheelbase by shortening the side/battery rail sections for shorter than 113.2 inches or lengthening the front rail sections for longer than 113.2 inches. A shortened Tesla 3/Y Standard Range/Plus battery pack or any other smaller battery pack can accommodate wheelbases shorter than 113.2 inches.
